RARE Goebel Hummel 198 2/0, 1948, "Home From Market", NEARLY FLAWLESS

Description

This hummel has
been in my collection for 50 years, and except for one or two occasions
has never moved from the shelf it was stored on. It is from a smoke-free
home. I will pack it extremely carefully so that you don’t have to
worry about damage during shipping.
The hummel
is 4.5″ tall, 2″ wide, and 2.5″ long. It is made from porcelain. The bottom is
marked “Goebel, W. Germany”, and has the number “198 2/0” and the
date “1948”. It also has the original sticker from sale, which reads “Spielwaren, Heisswolf, Rothenburg O T, Marktplatz”. The glaze is slightly cracked across the face, but this is barely noticeable without a magnifying glass. It is otherwise in excellent condition and has no defects
or damage from usage.
